Minced Beef Fried Rice
500g minced beef (or you may use pork)
400g cooked, cold rice
1 red onion, chopped
½ tsp sesame oil
2 tbsps light soy sauce (mixed with ½ tsp brown sugar)
2 tbsps vegetable oil
100g peas
Salt and pepper
1. Marinade minced beef with sesame oil. Set aside for 5 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a large wok.
3. Add onion and sauté until aromatic.
4. Add beef. Cook until beef is tender.
5. Stir in peas. Sauté for about 2 minutes.
6. Add rice and soy sauce combination. Mix well.
7. Cook for another 2 minutes. Serve warm.
