Red Beans with Rice
1 cup cooked rice
1 red kidney bean can, drained
1 small red onion, chopped
1 small tomato can, undrained and chopped
1tsp chili powder
1tsp paprika powder
1tsp cayenne powder
1tsp Tabasco sauce
1tbsp unsalted butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Heat butter in a small pan over medium heat.
2. Stir in onion until aromatic.
3. Add beans, tomato can, Tabasco sauce, chili, paprika and cayenne.
4. Cook for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Pour on top of rice. Serve.
